Geilo is a small and beautiful ski village in the center of Norway. With stable and long lasting snow conditions, new methods of storing and producing snow, and longer seasons, it has become an alternative well worth considering. The winter season starts in November and last to the end of April. In addition Geilo is the closest village to the Hardangervidda mountain plateau, where kiting and cross country skiing conditions last to mid May.

The summer season offers activities like downhill biking, cycling on Hardangervidda, fishing, rafting, hiking and new exciting attractions like a new, 1100 meters long zip line with speed up to 100 km/h and the first man made glacier you can enter and explore. The snow used in the glacier is then in the end of September moved to one of the ski slopes, offering skiers the possibility to use their skies from the last week in September on to the rest of the ski resorts opens in November.
